Hello all of Our Social Media Family! Thank you for joining us! This is our first list of challenges to practice that will help you become a better person as you grow closer to God! We will be doing these challenges with you, and we plan to do check-ins about them to see where everyone is at. The goal is for us to fight battles together and grow as a family of Christ. We challenge you to do these challenges with us until our next Zoom Church Service. How you approach it is up to you, you can choose to work on one a day or all of them at once, the idea is to work on all of these eventually for the next 2 weeks in hopes that it will start the process of all of these becoming natural to you until they are a part of you.

  1. Choose One Thing that bothers/stresses/negatively impacts you and give it over to God.

    - Pray to Jesus Christ, ask him to guide you and help you overcome the battle, and actively do your best every day. If you need encouragement or help, please feel free to reach out to us!đź’•

  2. For 1 hour a day select a time to refrain from social media and electronics.

    - During this time, you can either read the Bible, pray to God, do bible study (reading the bible and taking notes, writing down interpretations, messages etc.), and if you are doing this challenge with someone else or a group of people, you can do these things together and turn it into a Bible discussion if you like.

  1. Pray before any big/important decision.

    - Ask for guidance not only for those choices but also if you are unsure how to move forward, go about, or handle situations or obstacles that come your way during these 2 weeks. Do your best to be open to the voice of God, and if you are struggling with how to identify when he is speaking or moving in your life concerning these things, feel free to reach out to us, and we will do our best to help you!

  1. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

    - Practice being kind, thoughtful, and open-minded in the sense of putting yourself in other people's shoes to understand them before making a judgment about them. This way, we can judge righteously and help each other, minimizing wrongful judgment, which could result in people getting hurt/painfully misunderstood. Pray to God for the understanding of other people's emotions and empathy, and to help you implement/show it.

  1. Repent Daily

    - It is important that we repent throughout the day. There are times when we disobey God, make bad decisions, and unknowingly sin etc. It is always important to ask for the Lord's forgiveness; never go to bed or start your day without repenting.

If you don't know how to do this, here is a prayer you can say -

"Lord Jesus, please forgive me for all of the wrong that I have done and all of my sins that I have committed, please come into my heart and purify me with your love, grace, and Holy Spirit, in Jesus name, Amen!"

  1. Read/Listen the book of 1st John in the New Testament

The is Link Here if you want to listen to it. It should be around a 15-minute listen.

Here is the Link to the Blooket from Zoom Church Service 1 if you missed it.
